Data Policy

Last updated: [DATE — set at launch]

This policy explains how Restaurant Lead Finder sources and maintains business data about restaurants and foodservice establishments, and how individuals and businesses can request correction or removal of information. [PLACEHOLDER — counsel to review all sections.]

What our data is

Our datasets describe businesses: restaurant and foodservice establishments, their operating status, and professional contact information for the people who run them (such as owner name, business role, business email, and business phone).

The data is intended solely for professional business-to-business communication — not for consumer marketing, credit, employment, insurance eligibility, or any purpose regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).

Where the data comes from

Records are compiled from sources such as public records and government filings (business licenses, permits, alcohol licenses), publicly available information (websites, announcements, news, social profiles), and licensed commercial data providers. Sources are cross-referenced and quality-checked before delivery. [Adjust to reflect actual sourcing.]

How we maintain quality

Records carry a last-verified date and are refreshed on a regular cycle. Records that cannot be re-verified are flagged or retired rather than resold indefinitely.

Request removal or correction

If you are (or represent) a person or business in our data and want a record corrected or removed, email hello@restaurantleadfinder.com with the subject "Data Request", identifying the record and your relationship to it. We aim to acknowledge requests within 10 business days and to process verified requests promptly. [Counsel to align timelines with applicable law.]

Removal requests are propagated to future deliveries; we also notify active customers that received the affected record where required.

California (CCPA) notice

California residents have rights regarding personal information, including the rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing. [Counsel to complete the CCPA disclosures applicable to a B2B data provider, including categories collected and disclosed.]

Our expectations of customers

Customers agree to use the data for targeted, relevant, professional outreach in compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act, TCPA, and applicable privacy laws — including honoring opt-outs. Accounts using our data for spam or unlawful contact may be terminated.
